Hello!

My name is Cyrielle; I am a clinical midwife based in Amsterdam since 2018. I am legally registered as a midwife in The Netherlands and hold a BIG number.

In recent years, I’ve worked in secondary care, in delivery wards at Amsterdam’s largest hospital (OLVG), and also in primary care through the AmsterMAM practice, which offers home births. With AmsterMAM, I regularly support pregnant women through Centering Pregnancy cycles—a prenatal care model combining pregnancy checkups with group support.

My Journey

After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in communication, I pursued my calling as a midwife, completing a 4-year midwifery program.

Graduated as a midwife from ISEI in 2011, I worked for seven years in the obstetrics department of Saint-Luc University Clinics in Brussels, a hospital with nearly 2,000 births per year. That experience gave me exposure to various settings: delivery room, maternity ward, and high-risk pregnancies. I also led aquatic birth preparation classes there.

Over the years, I enriched my skills in prenatal and postnatal care through additional training, shaping my approach and expanding my practice. In recent years, I’ve had the privilege of sharing this knowledge through many prenatal preparation courses, personalized follow-ups, and postnatal rehabilitation sessions.
